I am pleased to announce that Pottery Classes are open to the public once again.
Booking is now open for the spring term.
Beginners and established potters welcome, I run mixed ability classes as all students learn at their own pace. I have space on Thursday mornings and evenings, please use the contact me form for any further enquiries.
I have a lovely light studio in Lawshall where students feel relaxed to enjoy their learning. I also welcome experienced potters who want some studio time to continue their own practice. I encourage students to have a project in mind once they have grasped the basics as we learn through making. Beginners will get the chance to try all making techniques Throwing, Hand Building during the first few weeks and will then be encouraged to develop their own practice and identity. Glazing and decoration techniques will develop as you learn.
I also offer Private events (Max of 6 people for a Party booking), One-day workshops and New for 2022 Kids half-term Art and Craft Club. If you have specific requests or are interesting in pottery classes in the Bury St Edmunds area then please use the form to contact me with your requirements.
